The experience of working with the folks from Impruv was very positive during the reconstruction of our home. We were very happy with the results and the whole process seemed to go rather smoothly. I am the second generation of an IMPRUV family. And that’s what we are…Family. Rarely do you find someone in this industry that transcends generations. Well, IMPRUV has done that with the Higgins Family. I don’t think I have sat in one room that has not been “touched” by IMPRUV since I was 5 years old.

Roger Gallagher has not only redone my parent’s homes (one in Hingham and one on the Cape) but he has also refurbished my own house in Hingham. In 2000 when I moved back to Hingham from the Mid-West I had bought a home that quite honestly I had never seen. Without me even seeing the property Roger knew what I wanted, what I needed…and what could be done within my means. To this day we take his recommendations and when the time calls…we bring in IMPRUV.

Our decision to join forces with Impruv was one that we a truly pleased with. After our first meeting, it was clear that we could work together to produce the space that we had dreamed about.

Before our new kitchen remodel, the kitchen was out of date, dark, and not as fully functional as we would have liked. There was no window to the outside, the sink area faced into the dining room, and there was a large wall with nothing on it. After living in the house for several years, it was obvious to us that the kitchen needed to be reversed and the blank wall needed to become part of the useable space.

After meeting with Impruv and telling them our thoughts and desires for the new kitchen space, it was clear that we both had a similar understanding of the dream kitchen we had envisioned. Impruv listened to everything! They were pleasant and knowledgeable with endless resources. Before we knew it, Impruv was able to layout the plan with visuals to help us realize that the decisions we were making were the right ones.

The end result is a kitchen of luxury both visually and functionally with the addition of an enlarged maintenance free deck. It is a pleasure to spend time in this new space every day.

We hired Impruv a few years ago to do a fairly substantial addition project to our home in Bedford, MA. We worked closely with Impruv even during the design process to ensure that we were leading towards a final product that we would be very happy with. There were many considerations even post-design that required additional investigation by Impruv, solid attention to detail and a presentation of options. We were very pleased throughout the process and very much so with the end product. I felt Impruv was there and committed every step of the way.

In addition, from the start of the project all the way through, our project felt like a number one priority for them. Every day they were on site moving the project forward and checking in with us. We also coordinated a kitchen renovation in the process of the larger addition and they managed to minimize upheaval for our family and coming in right on the timing they committed to.

We would definitely reach out again to Impruv if we were considering a project in the future.

Recently my wife and I decided to add-on to our house to accommodate the growing needs of our family. I have an understanding of the complexities of home remodeling as my father was a general contractor. Choosing a GC is never an easy decision but our main requirements were expertise, integrity, conscientiousness and cleanliness. Of course, lets not forget price. I was first impressed with Impruv primarily because they said my 350 square foot addition didn’t require an architect. Certainly, Impruv game me the option to use an architect. I was a bit skeptical about not using an architect but quickly came to realize that the Impruv expertise, plans and foresight into our project was in great hands. We couldn’t be happier with our new addition and the job was done in a timely manner and UNDER budget. I would recommend Impruv with the utmost of confidence.

I have worked with Roger and his crew on several different projects around my home both a large and small scale. From the full addition of a great room to the replacement of all my windows. In every case the job was done on time in with in the budget I had in mind. Roger often came up with money saving ideas and different ways to approach the task at hand with out sacrificing any quality of work. I would use Impruv again for any of my projects at home.
